I could be mistaken, but the game was published AND developed by Ubisoft, meaning they have complete ownership over it. It's completely up to them to rerelease it. It takes a lot of time and resources to port the game over to different platforms, and im not sure Ubisoft sees value in taking the time to do so. I doubt the ROI would be worth it.
I work in game dev, I know first hand that porting can be a bitch.

Too bad that article is two years old...I guess nothing ever came of it. If you can find the demo version of the game on the internet you can load it on your xbox 360 (unmodded) and at least play the first level. If you can mod your 360 you can play the full game. Or you could buy someone's old 360 with the game already downloaded and unlocked. But then again, this is what you get with digital games (glorified rental at the mercy of <insert faceless corporation>).

i tried out the rpcs3 emulator and it plays scott pilgrim just fine...even on my ancient 2nd gen i7 laptop. sweet.

old news, but Scott Pilgrim is available on most modern platforms again.
